I attribute nearly much of my early growth as a photographer in 2018 and 2019 to my summers spent on the media team of The Madison Scouts. To grow each day with and for the corps and make images that felt like a preservation of history and a memento of one of the best summers in many of those young performers lives was a great honor and something I look back on fondly. One of the privileges those summers allowed was the time to know the membership through my photography, allowing me to document them more authentically and sincerely within the world that we all lived in. Many of those relationships remain today, having gone to the audition camps for what would have been the 2020 season, and volunteering several days in summers since.
